Dear Sethu, Bid you adieu!!

Today, as you depart from the campus after submitting the PhD thesis, we are filled with a myriad of emotions, and I feel compelled to express my sincere appreciation for your extraordinary qualities.

You are not merely a batchmate but an embodiment of *understanding, care, tolerance, and humility.* Your kind heart has left an indelible mark on our shared experiences during the years we spent at *IARI New Delhi.*

The memories we created in class and during our course work will forever hold a special place in my heart. The camaraderie we forged at *RML Hospital*, the joy of *cycling* together, and the *unforgettable Delhi trips* are chapters of our journey that I will forever be thankful for.

Your understanding nature, remarkable care, exceptional tolerance, and wonderful humility have been guiding lights throughout our time as PhD batchmates. It is the essence of these qualities that made our academic pursuits not just challenging but also immensely rewarding.

"Adulteration vs. Nourishment: A Scientific Balance of Food and Faith"

I rarely dine out, but amidst the ongoing controversy over alleged non-vegetarian adulteration in TTD Laddu, I want to share an interesting experience. A few research scholars from a Delhi-based institution and I visited a restaurant, where I unexpectedly encountered unknown non-vegetarian dishes. For the first time, I tasted buffalo, beef, pork (from the Northeast), octopus , and other items. Though they were adulterated me , the taste was surprisingly good, and I often make allegations with fun on one of the scholars about this unique "Adulteration Experience". From a scientific perspective, non-vegetarian dishes are packed with essential nutrients like high-quality proteins, omega-3 fatty acids, iron, zinc, and vitamin B12 , all of which are vital for energy, metabolism, and overall health.
